2. Professional Standards and Scope of Practice
2.1 Nutrition services are provided by Madison Hows, who is:
• A Registered Dietitian (RD) regulated by the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA) when providing services to clients located in Canada, and
• An Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and member of Dietitians Australia when providing services to clients located in Australia.
2.2 Services are delivered in accordance with the professional and legal requirements that apply based on the client’s location at the time of service, including:
• For Canadian clients: CDA Standards of Practice, CDA Code of Ethics, and the Health Information Act (HIA – Alberta)
• For Australian clients: Dietitians Australia Code of Conduct, Australian privacy principles, and applicable federal/state regulations
As a practitioner working across both jurisdictions, we maintain professional alignment with the expectations of both Dietitians Australia and the College of Dietitians of Alberta.
2.3 Nutrition consultations, recommendations, and resources do not replace medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. You should always consult your doctor or healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns.
3. Use of the Website
3.1 You agree to use the Website for lawful purposes only and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others.

4. Appointments and Dietetic Services
4.1 Bookings for consultations are subject to availability and confirmation.
4.2 Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information for nutrition assessment and care. You are responsible for informing Nula Nutrition of any changes in your health status.
4.3 Consent: By booking a consultation, you consent to receive dietetic services, including Telehealth services where applicable.
4.4 Payment and cancellation: Payment terms, cancellation policy, and any refund rules are made available at booking. Clients are responsible for all fees not covered by private insurance.
4.5 Telehealth: Where services are delivered virtually, you acknowledge the limitations of Telehealth (technology issues, privacy risks) and consent to its use.
